Overview Presentation
The briefing session can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the group, for example, one for school principals considers the problem that classroom teaching can be draining yet schools (and the community) need to hold on to good experienced teachers and keep them teaching in one way or another.
THE BRIEF BRIEFING: This 20-minute overview helps participants decide whether their organisation needs to develop new or additional strategies for managing workers approaching, or past, retirement ages. It introduces some of the tools we use which assist organisations to develop and implement such strategies.
THE EXTENDED BRIEFING: This 45-minute session covers much the same ground as 'the brief briefing' in that it helps participants decide whether their organisation needs to develop new or additional strategies for managing workers approaching retirement age - and why. The extra time allows participants to actually experiment with a few of the tools we use. There is also more time to explore some of the participants' specific concerns.
